August News!!

Hello to everyone reading this!
I was just thinking about this last crazy year and how busy I became. A good year for trying new things- being a TedX innovative artist and joining Marin’s Museum of Contemporary Art. Participating in the Altered Book fundraiser. And, now, it’s the Sanchez Art Center’s 50/50 challenge that’s consuming my lazy Summer days. I’m nearly finished and will blast all the internet with details.
Aside from the 50/50 challenge is fun news! I’m scheduled for some skulls and Garden Katrina to return to Mission Bowling Club!!! My work will hang there until after Dia De Muertos! I love this place- it’s a high end bowling Alley with bar and restaurant.
Also new, I’m happy to now be an artist member of San Rafael’s Art Works Downtown!
I must get back to my 50 6 inch artfully embroidered masterpieces!

Hey There! My book "Artful Embroidery On Canvas!", was published in 2020. Thanks for checking out my blog! It's a mix of projects, reports on creativity and whatever else I may have to say. I'm a San Francisco Bay Area-based mixed medium artist who is especially interested in embroidery, installations and all that’ll art for art’s sake! UPDATE: My embroidery has been on hiatus since February 2023 which was when my husband started to feel ill. Sadly, he passed in March 2023 and so, the blog veered into a more personal direction. I'm ending my art hiatus later this September. Life has become a bit complicated but I will be back to blogging more on art and still describing my daily life as an artist, a woman, a mother, a daughter and struggling widow. Thanks for reading along.
