Yarn Haul!

Usually, it’s an outdoor activity for us whenever Dave and Hillary come to visit. The weather had a different idea and it was pouring rain all day. We hung out at the house and chatted for hours. We had reservations for dinner at a Caribbean Restaurant (chef from Haiti!) but first, Hillary, a wonderful artist, who paints on silk among other artful talents (calligraphy, ceramics, watercolors) and I managed to spend an hour roaming around Dharma Trading Company. Pure joy 🤩!

I needed neutral colors and found some sweet yarns. I limited myself to just three neutral colors. I have some coming in the mail.
These are much prettier in less harsh light.
All these mini skeins were in a $9.00 grab bag. I look so forward to using all of them. Soft and natural yarn is a lovely feel to work with.
I saw so many desirable yarns, but these two made it to the checkout counter.

We could have used another hour but Dharma needed to close .

We headed about six blocks over to Caribbean Spice restaurant located at 4th street in San Rafael. The chef came out to say hello answer questions about the food and to thoughtfully ask how spicy we wanted our dishes. A fun day, all around. Have a great day! I’ll be back soon to “Cher” my next Diva.
