A Quickie!!

A quick post just to show off my Mystery Box of glass beads from Amazon.

Here’s the $28. Mystery box 📦

It arrived at last! It’s a 5.5lb box of glass beads. I was extremely disappointed with my mystery beads purchased from Fire Mountain Gems as that bag was full of broken beads and too many plastic & wood beads . Too many odd things that bead jewelry makers would find useful but not useful for me.

Just exactly perfect!

I’m thrilled (it doesn’t take much) with my Amazon mystery box. Nothing broken nor anything but glass beads!! No pendants or charms- straight on glass beads in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes!

This is only one area of where I am draping the trees with glass beads.
Already starting another large face canvas.
Moved quick on this. There’s 5 different yarn/threads that I am combining to fill up the face. It looks much nicer and more interesting 🤨 as I am getting closer to filling the space up.

Hey There! My book "Artful Embroidery On Canvas!", was published in 2020. Thanks for checking out my blog! It's a mix of projects, reports on creativity and whatever else I may have to say. I'm a San Francisco Bay Area-based mixed medium artist who is especially interested in embroidery, installations and all that’ll art for art’s sake! UPDATE: My embroidery has been on hiatus since February 2023 which was when my husband started to feel ill. Sadly, he passed in March 2023 and so, the blog veered into a more personal direction. I'm ending my art hiatus later this September. Life has become a bit complicated but I will be back to blogging more on art and still describing my daily life as an artist, a woman, a mother, a daughter and struggling widow.
